How do you like poetry?

Poetry is a way to tell your story that’s not necessarily overwhelming or something that isn’t easy to do. If you’re nervous, there are a few ideas I’d love to share with you.

Let’s talk about haiku first. You may have learned haiku when you were little (about first or second grade). It’s very short–three lines long, The first line is five syllables, the second, second line is seven syllables, and the third line is five syllables. It’s pretty easy. If you want to join in, please post your haikus in the comments. And yes, you can use disability or illness as a framework for your poem. Please share. I’d love to see them.
