The Things I Remember

 makemeremember
I remember how I dreamed of being someone special
I remember how I tried to achieve high excellence in school
I remember how I only succeeded at being good, but not great
I remember how I tried to find my niche in work
I remember how nothing was quite right, no matter what I tried
I remember how I thought my life was over before I had even started
I remember how I gave up when I couldn’t see what to do next
I remember how I found hope again.
I remember how I learned to breathe and trust again.

About lana1967

I'm a Southern girl at heart who wants to build a community of people who believe they can change the world with words like "love" and "freedom" when they become more than words, but actions in our work and our daily lives.
