I Am a Purple Zebra

purple zebra

I could have been a yellow elephant;

I could have been a red zombie

Eating brains from everyone I saw;

I could have been all kinds of things

If it weren’t for one problem–

I am a purple zebra.

“When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras.”

Sometimes it really is a zebra.

Sometimes it’s something rare that few people have seen before.

I guess that means I’m something special even though I don’t feel that way.

Anybody want to get to know a zebra?
