Checking In

I’m going to keep this short. I lost track of time, and I should try to settle in for the night soon.My lesson to you all today is “Do Not Let a Neurosurgeon Cut Your Hair!” They are not hairstylists! If you do, you might look like I do now!

I feel pretty good. Not much pressure, but I’m not up and moving around yet, I’ll have a CT scan at 9 am, and he’ll be able to see if the shunt is at the right setting. After that, I might go home tomorrow. But it might be Friday.

Of course I’m in the NC mountains where we’re expecting Crazy Winter Storm Jonas Brother on Friday, I think. So that might be an issue, or it might not. Even in the mountains, things tend to go sideways when we’re expecting snow in the South. I shouldn’t say that, because I definitely do NOT want things to go sideways.

I’m glad y’all are out there. I don’t feel alone.

  1. yup. My neurosurgeon shaved my hair two inches behind my hairline and a decade later, it’s still whack.
